I’m Sophie. I chase moments, always hunting for the frame that distills the true energy of a live experience, whether that’s a main-stage set or a moment on the field for an athlete.
Working across live music, festivals, sports, brands, lifestyle and cultural events throughout the UK and Europe, my approach is rooted in storytelling. I bring an intuitive perspective to everything I shoot, capturing raw emotion, high-stakes action, and the genuine pulse of the moment without forcing it.
I focus on documenting the electric, deeply human stories that unfold when people gather to perform, compete, and connect. Based in Cardiff, my work takes me everywhere from festival fields and photography pits to match day sidelines and intimate venue green rooms and creative e-commerce sets.
How I Work
I observe. I anticipate. I wait for the drop, the decisive play, the story on the pitch, the personal moment in the wings, the breath between movements, the emotion of a song that carried someone through a season, and the unscripted glance that tells the entire story.
I pair technical precision with creative instinct. I understand light, composition, and storytelling but I never lose sight of the people at the centre of it all. Experience
I’ve documented major live events including In It Together Festival and Together Again Festival for numerous years and worked with artists such as Artful Dodger, Professor Green, and Stereophonics drummer Jamie Morrison, along with touring acts, professional athletes including Trevoh Chalobah, Harry Clarke and Luke Woolfenden, and Football clubs such as Everton FC and Cardiff City FC.
